December 4, 2020, Kennewick, WA -The Historic Downtown Kennewick Partnership and Numerica Credit Union are thrilled to present the Numerica Holiday Money Tree Giveaway.

Located in downtown Kennewick at 204 W. Kennewick Ave in Flag Plaza (renamed Claus Plaza for the holidays) is the Numerica Holiday Money Tree. This very special tree is decorated with fake money boards that feature a special QR code that when scanned takes you to an online entry form where you can enter to win $1,000 for yourself and another $1,000 for the Nonprofit of your choice.  

“We are so excited to be partnering with Numerica Credit Union on this exciting program,” says Executive Director, Stephanie Button. “We hope the Numerica Holiday Money Tree Giveaway brings lots of people to downtown Kennewick to enter the giveaway, shop at local businesses, and delight in the festive atmosphere of downtown at Christmas time.”

The promotion begins on December 5, 2020, and ends on January 3, 2021. All entries must be received by January 3, 2021, at 8:00 p.m. PST to be considered. One person will be randomly drawn to win a prize of $1,000 for themselves and $1,000 donated to their favorite nonprofit. 

One random prize drawing will be held on January 4, 2021, after 8:00 a.m. based on the entries received during the contest period. Contestants will scan the QR code (or enter the website) on the displayed sandwich board sign or fake money board hanging on the Numerica decorated Christmas tree. Contestants must fill out the form on the website, check the boxes, and agree to Terms and Conditions. One person will be randomly drawn when the tree is taken down. One winner will win the grand prize of $1,000 in the form of a check. The nonprofit that the winner selected will also be given $1,000. Historic Downtown Kennewick Partnership (HDKP) will contact the winner and nonprofit to distribute winnings.
