Network Breakfasts are your chance to check out what's going on downtown. In addition to networking with your fellow Downtowners and staying in the Downtown Loop, discover new businesses by joining us for coffee and light breakfast nibbles.
At every event, we start with introductions, and we have everyone from business owners to downtown business partners to residents. Our board president, executive director, and committee chairs then give updates on what the HDKP has been working on the last couple of months. Next, we have great speakers to present on business topics that keep our downtown businesses thriving. Lastly, we invite everyone to share any news they have. After, there is time to network and get to know your neighbors.

The April Network Breakfast is getting a Special Edition “take-over”. This month’s gathering will take place on Wednesday, April 10th. This 2.5 hour presentation is about our community’s participation in the Equitable Entrepreneurial Ecosystem in Rural Main Streets pilot grant program!
Join us for an in-depth exploration into the intricacies of developing an equitable entrepreneurial ecosystem tailored specifically to our Downtown Kennewick commercial district revitalization efforts. During this session, we will delve into the essential components and best practices necessary for cultivating a supportive environment for small businesses and entrepreneurs in our community.
Our focus will be on providing practical guidance and support to implement entrepreneur-focused economic development policies, programs, and practices. Through interactive discussions and collaborative activities, participants will gain a deeper understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities facing our local entrepreneurs.
Additionally, we will review key findings from recent small business surveys and community profile data to identify barriers hindering entrepreneurial growth and explore actionable strategies to address them. Together, we will lay the groundwork for building a more inclusive and resilient entrepreneurial ecosystem that fosters innovation, creativity, and prosperity for all members of our community.
